Homecoming Centre (HCC – Old Fugard Theatre)

Set in the heart of District Six, the Homecoming Centre brings together historic architecture, performance spaces and contemporary event facilities under one roof. The building's character comes from a collection of interconnected nineteenth- and twentieth-century warehouses, alongside the remnants of a Gothic-style Congregational Church.

The location offers a diverse mix of spaces, from the 320-seat Star Theatre and Gothic-inspired Avalon Auditorium to the Tafel Hall, multi-room Workshop and two-storey Bits 'n Pieces gallery spaces. A boardroom, on-site café and rooftop terrace add further variety, with the rooftop offering expansive views across the city.
