The space invites people to slow down and reconnect through their senses, offering a distinctly ‘human-centric’ experience. Consisting of a large excavated chamber (24m x 8m x 6m) accessed by a trenched ramp, it is covered by a temporary roof structure, creating a darkened subterranean space. The sheer walls of the below-ground space are raw earth, emphasised by deliberate, orchestrated lighting and subtle soundscape.
