The most popular venue for the year by far is Nasdak, situated at the Media 24 building. Nasdak is currently almost fully booked for the whole of November and December. It can accommodate up to 150 pax seated for a dinner / dance and up to 250 pax for a cocktail event.
2. Cartel Rooftop Venue
Situated at 71 Waterkant Street in the heart of Cape Town CBD, Cartel Rooftop is a very popular option for birthday parties, yearend functions as well as weddings. The venue can accommodate 100 pax for a seated dinner / dance and up to 220 pax for a cocktail event.
3. East City Studios
This blank canvas is any event planner’s dream – let your creative juices flow and transform this into your wildest dreams. Situated at 62 Roeland Street, it has magnificent 360 views of Cape Town and can accommodate up to 120 pax for a seated dinner / dance and 220 pax for a cocktail event.
Top 3 Luxury Villas for Event according to NVD Property:
1. Luxx Villa
For a smaller, intimate food and wine pairing type of event – a villa option would be ideal. You always need to consider the neighbors when it comes to events at villas – so keep in mind guests would need to get shuttled in or use Uber and no loud music or party into the early hours of the morning.
2. La Mer
Personally one of my favorites. With amazing views of the ocean and no immediate neighbors along with a parking area opposite the property – what’s not to like! La Mer Villa is also an ideal venue for smaller dinner events or cocktail receptions.
3. Heatherfield
We are hosting our first destination wedding here for 30 pax in November and cannot wait to share the pictures with you afterwards. It’s going to be spectacular. Not many people are aware of this gem in the heart of Tamboerskloof. Heatherfield is definitely under our top 3 villas for events.
